Man… every time I use LibreOffice I curse. I’m dyed in the wool pro open source, but LibreOffice has just never cut it for me. I suppose if I had a job to do and that’s what I was given it would work.
It’s a sensible first step.
Yeah, like, if you’re just gonna ask someone, they’d be the ones to ask.
The “study” is that they asked teachers, “Hey, how’s it been going?” and the teachers answered, “I feel like my students are paying attention more now.”
I’d rather not debate that particular topic. I’m not up on all the nuances. But I will say that while coal was maybe the right choice for generating abundant energy once upon a time, we know a lot more now about why it’s a bad choice for other reasons, and, besides, we have more options now than we used to. So it’s good to see the world’s second largest economy at least trying to build solar capacity.
To be clear: Are you saying China is in the process of developing?
Good for China on that!
To add some perspective, China is about 2 and a quarter times as large as the EU nations, and according to currentresults.com seems to get a bit more sunshine than the EU does. So the difference isn’t quite as stark as this post makes it seem.
But still, it’s good that China is taking solar power seriously. I didn’t realize they were doing that well.

Not sure what this has to do with technology…
Those “backdoors” are called RJ-45 jacks. That’s where the bits get in and out.
This feels truthy to me.
Don’t tell me caffeine has drawbacks. Don’t wanna hear it!
It’s a good thing Israel would never want to develop software that spies, and that even if it did it would certainly never spy on America with it.

I pride myself on not going in for conspiracy theories and always doing due diligence on the facts. But the idea that my phone is listening to me at times when it shouldn’t be is one I am not going to give up easily.

If you’re in Bluetooth range can’t you chat with your mouths? Or is it for secretly chatting when you’re in a group of people? I don’t get the use case.
