The people editing their images in Blender are the same people who edit their videos in Blender lol.

The phone is mostly just as a backup in case of a power outage or something.
I had My minecraft server scanned by at least 3 different bots, and I even had some friendly guy join my server that apparently found it using a bot he wrote. I’m now using a whitelist lol. One of the account names that scanned my server was "Fifth Column, which is a griefing group.

yonder@sh.itjust.worksto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Do you know anyone in real life that uses Lemmy?51·5 months agoIf I talk with people about Lemmy, I’ll usually replace “lemmy” with “this social media I use, kinda like Mastodon, but for Reddit instead of Twitter” as to avoid them joining lemmy.ml and thinking that that’s the entirety of Lemmy.
But they why do we stop at vandalizing only the Cybertruck? There are several other vehicles that I would consider to be “douchebag vehicles”.
- Cars that are modified to be as loud as possible. These cars can be going 20km/h and sound like the engine is in a race.
- Lifted pickup trucks.
- Pickup trucks that have only their bed used once.
- Any vehicle blocking a bus stop, bike lane or bus lane.
Don’t worry. They can send the reports to /dev/null where they will be read by Tim Apple himself when he checks it.

The quality of the maps also varies from city to city, so you might have a different experience compared to others. I find I’m able to get around reliably around my city on my bike.

- Aurora store: Google play store with no need for a google account.
- F-droid: A way to install FOSS apps independant of Google.
- Neostore: better looking f-droid
All of these can be downloaded in the browser, and then installed from the file manager.

(the algorithm lied to me)English1·8 months agoI set up a RPI 2 at my parent’s house connected to a 15 year old printer and it works like magic. Basically any device can detect and use the printer using Samba as long as it’s on the network. No drivers or anything.

I’m pretty sure that maby of the camera-drone manufactuers make variants that are just under 250g to make them more accessible.

I tried the demo on my phone and it was way snappier than Nextcloud or even Google drive lol. I mostly use Nextcloud for documents and for calender and contacts, so I might replace nextcloud soon given how slow it usually is.
I basically do exactly this, but I am running the reverse proxy on my home computer: the VPS is literally just acting as a proxy, for which I use wireguard to tunnel the connection. So far it’s worked great, though initial setup was a pain.
