The only two I can think of that haven’t been mentioned yet, but I feel must:
Disco Elysium
Skywind
The latter is unreleased, but pretty much all the voice acting is done and the work I’ve heard is impeccable.
That would be a better movie if the ending showed him choosing, but didn’t tell us which he chose. Leave it heavily implicit, not to get people debating but to put the choice onto the viewer, connect that dot to how we choose to live our lives.

I notice they didn’t say “live and let live”

Yeah no, they just didn’t care. Charitable of you though.

As a kid I had pretty loose video rental permissions. I frequently rented Jack Frost (1997). It was trash and I was too young to be watching it, but it ticks the boxes.

Nobody ever talked to me about Sonic lore as a kid, so I never had a word for it. I was too busy playing Cyborg Justice and wishing I was good at it. That game pulled me in with the cool vibes then dashed me to bits with bad controls.

Systematic answer: The Reddit commenter mindset. The medium of a link aggregator platform creates a dynamic where commenters receive an incentive to be the most punchy, the fastest, the most trenchant, the wittiest, the sharpest, the most meta, the most ironic. So people naturally overreach. They try to ring that bell extra hard, from a place that isn’t genuine. They end up seeming unfunny, mean, glib, or reactive, rather than genuinely witty or interesting.
Personal answer: wisdom tells us not to blame victims, so we know aggression says more about the aggressor. They might just be at a low level of personal development due to situational factors, or more profound deficits such as a personality disorder.

Time will tell.

Second thoughts here: TSLA is ascendant because Musk is emblematic of billionaires everywhere - deeply mediocre, undeserving, predatory, and absolutely confident that he’s the greatest fucker in the world.
It’s the new Business Plot basically - they chose their new stooges carefully this time, choosing men with absolutely zero moral fibre. Smedley Butler would never have gotten them this far.

I’ve seen this happen with a company that increasingly beat earnings (and is EPS positive) every quarter this year. Wall Street doesn’t care because it has already made up its mind what has to happen.

There’s a lot of money to be made destroying companies. Sophisticated financial instruments like swaps, leveraged buyouts, and death spiral financing can be used to vampirically destroy publicly traded companies. You buy a controlling share using debt, install a bunch of overpaid C-suite execs who sell all their shares and hire overpaid consultants to tell them useless shit, meanwhile the fundamentals of the business erode, corporate media goes negative on command while your hedge fund buddies short the shit out of it. Sooner or later the whole thing goes bankrupt and private equity buzzards swoop in to snap up whatever value remains.
I haven’t had coffee yet so this is not an essay, only a mild rant. I’m not gonna die on any of these hills right now, it’s my day off.

Market cap has absolutely nothing to do with reality. You can be a company with $100 in the bank and still have the whole company value be $50 according to Wall Street. Luckily this is a perfect system, and it can continue indefinitely without hurting anyone or breaking anything!

I promise I wasn’t aiming for highbrow, I’m just a confusing dude

He looks untouched by his ordeal, but exactly like a dude who crashes cars

Did someone mention boritoughs?

I just found out I’ve been confidently and secretly incorrect for decades. I always assumed it was “wheel barrel” and everyone was misspelling it because they were guessing based on everyone else’s poor enunciation.
I just checked and wheelbarrow is correct. Barrow is derived from old English, and might not actually be etymologically related to barrels at all. Not that I could find anyway.
What a life. What a strange old world.

He looked about him, felt the air, looked deep within, and came to the clear realisation that what the people really deserve and crave in this political moment, is clarity and leadership on doing big cums

I don’t have any legal opinions, but I also don’t have any “legal opinions”
