winni@lemmy.worldto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•How many of you use Lemmy and ONLY use Lemmy vs Reddit?1·19 days agoI never used reddit. Looking for technical information, I found reddit to be very intrusive while searching technical information, until I found the addon highlight or hide search results for firefox, which lets me hide reddit (and youtube) in search results
the web is already destroyed with all the spam, commercial crap, tracking and spying
I can survive - until now

It is one of the first portable tube radios, built 1958 or 1968 (dont remember). Internals died a few times, retro-fitted by a UKW radio receiver, then an MP3 player, now its a Raspi radio. It runs most of the time if I am at home
winni@lemmy.worldto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•How would you prove that you're from the future?1·1 month agoI could prove that I am an AI because in the future Internet will be AI only with no humans left
there is not specific time to quit. Usage pattern will change over time. For me change started years ago, when enshittication accelerated, long before ai. The good, in a while ai will talk to ai without humans being involved. Lets see how ad industry reacts. The bad, all the energy wasted The ugly, somebody has to pay for all
