i remember when the hundreds of hours of monster hunter came from the content on release. G-rank was the endgame, not $60 dlc that came a year or two later. I always wished monhun would become more mainstream but now i’ve eaten my words.
I’ve been wanting this for YEARS. It’d give you something to do between content patches if you’re a no-lifer like me.
Yuuup, Palworld was a rare early access buy for me. Burned too many times but a sale burnt a hole in my pocket after holding off for years and I got curious, I knew what I was getting into haha
Nah, not complaining, idly wondering. I made my bed, I’ll sleep in it, I’m just wondering how far a game can go to change a game and still claim it’s the same game.
I wonder how much of this game they can force them to change. I know Steam has a 2 hour limit for returns but at what point does this game become “not the game I bought”?
I agree with everything except #5. If you want to play couch multiplayer for the switch with two people you’re set with the tiny joycons. If you want any comfort playing those games you’re investing in at LEAST as many controllers as you have couch players and the same can be said about the deck. But the Deck has options and years of hardware options that are far more inexpensive than the $90 joycons or $80 pro controllers at launch. Given time I’m sure there may be options for the S2 but I think the Deck has far more inexpensive options for multiplayer.
That said, the deck dock is expensive so maybe my argument is entirely moot.
We did that at our lunch hour in high school. We had a super strategic friend that took the entire lunch hour. That pass-around mode was peak early 2000’s multiplayer.
Hell yes. Decades of tinnitus gone? Sign me up.
Please do not misunderstand my question, I’m not judging whatsoever but I’m genuinely curious what the appeal is of this game. I bought it when I came out, I recently redownloaded it, I played for probably 20 hours total and I just don’t get it. Is it the absurdity? I want to love it I just don’t understand it. I’ve been meaning to ask in the Discords but I’m a bit of a coward.
An old wizard who’s on a quest to re-learn all of his spells. If the DM allowed for it, he’s accomplished it several times but has a Sisyphus curse to lose his memory and start from level 1 again when he finally gets his memory back. Maybe he finds a way out, maybe he doesn’t but I’d like to play that sometime. Buuut that requires friends and time and I’m a middle aged dad of 3 lmao
My parents are close to 65 and completely out of touch. If you turn 65 during your next term you should be ineligible.
I too was in middle school when Columbine happened. The next year we weren’t allowed to wear trench coats… In Phoenix…
Sam didn’t spring for the ad-free tier and now has to have his time wasted?
I like the cut of your jib, Tex.
How would you prepare for telecom? I’ve got a background in IT and have been trying to switch to Software Engineering by learning React and TypeScript. Would the skills compare at all?
I’d personally recommend Vancouver then. Lived there in an apartment for a year and it was a nice mix of urban, suburban and rural. Basically drive 15 minutes in any direction and you’re in a new biome. Personally looking to move back there once I get a new job and sell the house.
I’ve lived in Washington State (western) for 4 years total and have seen exactly 10 days of snow the entire time I’ve been here. Houses are still 3-400k. I want to move either closer to SeaTac or down to Vancouver because I bought a house in an area with a lot of flags on trucks if you catch my drift. We have more cloudy days than anything. We get lots of rain but it’s mostly just clouds and drizzles.
I played briefly at launch and stopped until about 2 months ago and picked it up again. I had a ton of fun. They fixed (almost) all of my gripes.
yeah but can i still dupe?
