Shattered Pixel Dungeon is a really good, well polished, roguelike. It may be on the fringes of your request, it’s not really a “puzzle” game, but you do need to think a lot to weigh your options constantly.

2048 will burn at least an hour. It’s free, there are tons of clones.
close enough.
Kleenex, tissue. Band aid, bandage. Xerox, copy. IPad, tablet (some people call their android tablets iPads) Plucker, flosser.
It’s not really that bad. Some are even shorter:
Google, search. Invisalign, retainer.
Some are iffy:
Sharpie, permanent marker. (You could just say marker, depending on if you have any other markers in the house to disambiguate from.)
And some are definitely shorter as brand names:
Q-tip, cotton swab Velcro, hook and loop Sawzall, reciprocating saw
(And if there was a shorter name for “oscillating multi tool” I would be so happy.)
I can’t think of any others.
It’s all terminology and labels.
Do you belong to a theology? No? Then you’re an atheist. But that label has a stigma, so some opt for a different label.
Are you gnostic? No? Then you’re agnostic. No one talks about gnosticism out of religeon or philosophy, so they know what you mean. But the subjects of gnosticism and theism are two different things.
But it also feels oversimplified when I put it that way, since these things a less black and white and fall more on a spectrum.
That said, do you play golf? No? Then you may also be an a-golfer, an a-tee-ist.
Which label you chose may be based on how much the stigma bothers you or how much of a troll you are.
Thank you for introducing me to Propaghandi, this band ROCKS.
Periodical. Local storage only, f-droid.
I thought this was from “don’t look up,” but they respected him too much for that.
Treasure planet??
Thank you!
Cool stuff!
That last line is why I shared it with others who have no idea what half the things it’s referencing are.
Walking around the neighborhood.
It’s good exercise, you can meet your neighbors, and sometimes you can pick up something someone is throwing away that’s in good condition.
Directions unclear, I tried snapping with my pinky (instead of with my middle finger) for far too long before I realized you meant “snap like normal except put your pinky up.”
When replacing big services you’re not going to find a single solution. You will probably find several smaller solutions that all specialize in one or two things.
Probably anyone who’s shocked at this happening.
What if you had OBS create a “camera” of your screen, and then use that through video chat?
Not for me. I… Don’t have leaks? I know where my water shutoff is if I need it.
I like owning.
Extras are something I miss from modern movie distribution.
After finishing a movie you could watch the deleted scenes and behind the scenes and such. I rarely did the commentary watch of the movie but it was cool that it was there.
Simple Solitaire Collection has lots of different solitaire variants. No riddles, but you do have to think a lot. “Napoleon’s Tomb” and “Simple Simon” are two interesting variants I learned about from this game. (Simple Simon has simple rules but can be incredibly hard.)
