see if you can find a hobby you like. i really only dance for exercise lmao but im gonna try volleyball this summer and hopefully ill get some socializing too
brushing my teeth. eternal 2 minutes TWICE a day
god forbid someone wants to hear from an actual human rather than bounce around the misinformed echo chamber that are modern search engines
i really wanna visit pittsburgh some day! im in the midwest so the coasts always get a hoity toity rap but i think id prefer east coast cities, though west coast weather and national parks are unparalleled
not mine. its very car dependent and most old walkable neighborhoods were left for dead. its making a comeback but it is a US city that was ruined with urban “renewal”
you can serve with rice or bread, or eat them on their own
i live in a city now where places like are truly rare. never take it for granted!
i think controlling domestic pets is also an issue and im a huge advocate for indoor only, but boars will not integrate in forests here the same way they would in japan. im not an advocate for killing nor do i think it would work, but TNR efforts may help the same way it does with stray cat populations
the problem isnt the boar itself but the damage an outside threat poses to a delicate ecosystem
you can do a lot at home! if youre new to lifting consult your resources and work on your form. if you feel a little lost, you can always book a session or two with a personal trainer and they will teach you your way around weights. i was a trainer for about 2 years and most of my clients needed some corrections their first few sessions (and some reminders past that!)
i was raised in a high pressure household and school was always always the pause. im only 23 now but im still struggling to figure out who i am since i never really got the chance to. responsibilities will always creep in, you have to be super intentional about making time for you. maybe start with a once a week class on something that interests you. as busy as you are, you can find a couple hours one day a week. prioritize movement, eating well, and sleeping enough so you have more energy, and therefore time during the day.
a few people have told me that I’d miss out on ‘real parenting’ if I do not have a kid of my own. you don’t seem to have that problem at all! good on you for stepping up for those kids. not everyone would.
I’m sorry your parents did that to your sister but im happy shes living her best life now :) honesty is key with kids!!
thank you for the insight! honestly, I think I lean more towards the fostering side than the infant side. I am definitely wary of the challenge, though, so I think thats what inspired me to ask here. Lots of stuff to keep in mind.
both? i was diagnosed super young, and by the time i got to college some people around me spent so much time on their phones or dodged so much homework it made me feel i was on a more even playing field lol
thats good to hear!! definitely shooting for ensemble/small role lol
i feel like i need something serious in my life. i was intense teenager turned lollygagging college student and feel like i havent accomplished anything in years lol
thanks for your reply!
