I wanted to say, I’m excited about the possibility of machine learning use in medical screening. If we are able to get people to be checked more often and any abnormalities to be found earlier, it could save a lot of lives - and it’s starting to look promising already

Even better! According to no hiding theorem, you can’t destroy information. With black holes you maybe possibly could be able to recover the data as it leaks through the Hawking radiation.
Perfect for long term storage

Mirror’s Edge (2008) has still probably the best first person movement of any game. Unlike it’s sequel, It’s not an open world, but many cited it as a plus, since the levels still feel free but very well designed asking you to sprint through - and nearly the whole game you just run and climb with very few interruptions.
true, at least someone had their priorities straight!

On a more serious note people change, and the dev seems remorseful so maybe an early parole won’t be out of the question

The only things I use and I know they have AI are Spotify recommendations, live captions on videos and DLSS. I don’t find generative AI to be interesting, but there’s nothing wrong with machine learning itself imo if it’s used for things that have purpose.
I was playing Jedi Knight up to some time ago, now Eternal Darkness on the emulator (both with a cheap BT controller)
