Sadly about 50. But that’s all my plan allows at my address so not a hardware issue.

I’m on 1.2gbps with my own modem… That’s the fastest available at my address.
Not what you’re asking but since it’s been covered well:
Buy your own cable modem and put your own firewall behind it. Not only will this save you money in the long run, you’ll also have no issues with things like port forwarding. I use Comcast/Xfinity with a docsis3.1 cable modem + a decent firewall and it’s a good way to go.
Idk would you rather they spend the money on military-grade swat equipment? Lots to pick at here but overall an example of outreach instead of enforcement, which is a win in my book.
Yeah… It’s a single vehicle used at special events and stuff to bring awareness to the problem of drinking and driving.

pianoplant@lemmy.worldto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What volume level do you usually listen to music at?81·2 years agoCame here say this. Absolutely agree. Being able to reduce background noise is huge.
As a side point - having a car that’s quiet has really allowed me to enjoy music at a much more reasonable level when driving as well.

pianoplant@lemmy.worldto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Do you think millennials who grew up with the early Internet and home computers will be as bad with future technology as boomers are with current technology?281·2 years agoI was just thinking about this. I’m really not sure. I think technological progress is not the core issue but rather a sudden paradigm shift in how you interact with what you use on a daily basis.
For instance, there was a generation that grew up without cars and never learned to drive even after they became commonplace. Just too big a jump from previous methods of transportation. But their children who grew up with cars didn’t have any issues as the technology matured and new features were added.
So the question is will there be another significant paradigm shift in our lifetime that isn’t just an evolution of current interfaces and tools, but rather a sudden change in how we interact with technology?
Who knows…

They’re working on removing this. When you read about the dev “stripping out websockets” that’s part of what’s changing.
Paprika. To see the parade for the first time again… Wow.
