When i left Chrome, one of the things I was looking for was vertical tabs and was willing to try anything. I wasn’t fond of a mac first option, but I decided to try it. Installed it and the first thing it did was to force me to make an account, uninstalled it instantly.

I’m not against the option of having an account, but forcing it makes me distrust them. Was not long after that there were also some major security flaws found as well. They really didn’t make it easy for people to change, almost like they thought the apple form over function would appeal more broadly.

They’re obviously going for a zero adoption policy and trying to think of the most repulsive options

I take a baseline 4 pain pills a day, unless I have a really bad day and then I just take one knock out pill. Sertraline, Magnesium, vitamin d, and calcium most days. Every 12 months I can have a minor surgical procedure to burn out nerves in my neck and that reduces my need for pain meds, will likely start needing this on my lower back soon. Currently I’m 46, trying to hold off disc replacement or fusion until I’m 65 at least. When I’m really old, I will likely move to an oxycodone patch.

As an Australian, I’m often thinking about whether Russian or mandarin is the best language for me to learn. Definitely more rations for an interpreter

Most arguments against a potential WW3 happening seemed to base the assumption that we were dealing with mentally competent world leaders, who were ultimately worried more about their money and comfortable life, so would not let it happen. Trump and Elon have grown up in such wealth, they are completely disconnected from reality and I believe are insane enough to think they are untouchable by anyone and anything, even Putin knows he is not invincible. This swing to the right in Western countries seems to be filled with similar people, with the common belief that they will never truly have to deal with the consequences of their actions. People with this level of insanity, do not care if the poors get ground up in their wars and thus, i think it is now just a matter of time.

A few years after high school I joined the stage crew for a musical theatre group some friends started. At a performance after party, I was looking after some of the younger cast who had a few too many: one of them decided I was like Bosley to their Charlie’s angels; the other felt I was looking after them in a fatherly way - so they combined it, and that became their nickname for me.
