I am in the states, my only non-Walmart grocery store is 0.5km and before my bike was stolen I used to ride there for groceries quite often. I rarely walk it, but I also hike ~9km a day with my dog.

I really wish lemmy had a mute option in addition to block. There are both users and communities I do not want to see posts from, but if I see comments (from users) and visit certain communities that is okay.

Some users seem to post every single news article they happen upon, most time I think without reading any of them. I tend to avoid all of their posts, a mute button would be fantastic.

Evolution in Pokémon does not take millions of years. If you leave a Pokémon in your pocket with the wrong rock it is going to evolve, or if it becomes your friend it may evolve.

Some superglue on the broken part of the key and reattach it, or alternatively superglue a few paper clips or other thin metal objects to the key in the door. Using more than one will spread out the force used to pull.

My first set I made myself. The “blackout” backing was white. The curtains themselves were blue with horses I think (I was like 8). I later used the backing with some Star Wars sheets to make new curtains.

Black out curtains are not always black. I have black out curtains that are backed white.

I canceled Spotify and moved to Napster a few years ago because supposedly Napster pays artists better, but their apps were such shit. And there would be random songs missing from an album, or an album would only have a single song. A lot of newer stuff was unavailable, as were small artists. I ended up cancelling with Napster.
