I would assume it’s a spam email and delete it. Are they really deporting people over email? Seems more like a postal letter kind of thing.

That’s cheap. I’m with Virgin, and when I was checking Fibre deals a year or two ago, I’m sure they all required line rental which put the price way up. I can see it’s much more reasonable now.

Yeah, I know there’s the football one, and I used to post a bit on the .world one, but it’s a niche topic even within football, so I know I won’t get much interaction from it.

I was on r/soccer a lot as well, and considering its size I don’t know why the football communities are relatively small. Also, the .world one is effectively locked for some reason.

I grew and modded the K League (Korean football) sub previously, and I’ve wondered about starting one Lemmy. I would like one to be here so that I can can keep up with what’s happening easily, but I also kinda like not having a feeling of responsibility to post stuff regularly.

If I did start one, does anyone know if there’s any technical problems with creating and modding a comm on an instance different from your home instance?

I lost my jack during an upgrade last year, but I also got free buds with the phone. I thought I would hate them, but I actually listen to more music now than I ever did before because it’s so convenient not to be wired to the phone.

We also have a couple of good over-ear wired headphones in our house, so I bought an adapter to be able to use them. I bought a no brand one for a few pounds off Amazon (just to try it out at first, really), so probably the DAC inside is not doing them justice, but they still sound great, much better than the buds. It still works fine now, so until it breaks, I’m pretty happy with it. If it breaks, I won’t be happy with it, but then I’ll probably get a better one.
