Don’t let perfect stand in the way of good.

It’s not possible in most cases to even know if a given online resource is using AWS behind the scenes, so it’s not something you can really control.

On the other hand, if you happen to be a web developer, that is a different story, but for normal users it’s not something you can do much about.

Military recruitment is actually really insidious. They actively target low income areas

There is a reason the military (in multiple countries) has been called the “employer of last resort”.

They’re always recruiting, and will take almost anyone who can’t find any other job.

Maybe they can identify the actual threat and neutralize him.

I believe LLMs are good at some things

The problem is that they’re being used for all the things, including a large number of tasks that thwy are not well suited to.

Then again, our corporate lords and masters are trying to replace all manner of skilled workers with those same LLM “AI” tools.

And clearly that will backfire on them and they’ll eventually scramble to find people with the needed skills, but in the meantime tons of people will have lost their source of income.

And a British reporter.

And arrested a CNN reporter while he was live on the air.

Also for some reason, line dancing.

That’s about as non-threatening an activity as a group can do.

The world is watching, and everyone knows what opening fire on a line dance party would look like.

They can’t do that legally right now.

Hasn’t stopped them so far.

The rest of the world is watching and we will be talking about it even if the “land of the free” isn’t allowed to.
