  • Chester Bennington of Linkin Park low-key destroyed me. I didn’t even hear about it when it happened due to a big storm taking out my power for a week. It wasn’t until 4 or 5 days after the news hit everyone else when I finally found out.

You can say whatever you want about Linkin Park, but Chester was fucking talented and its still so upsetting to me to think about it.

And then last year, they made Chester die again when they brought on a Scientologist to be the new lead singer. Now Linkin Park as a whole is dead to me.

  • Seems like most people have given their stories so I’ll shy away from mine (mainly because I don’t feel like typing everything out), but I DO want to say that for those of you who feel like this, I strongly recommend some kind of nutritional drink/complete meal shake to keep on hand.

I was using Soylent for a long while, and honestly it is my personal preference, but recently (for like a year now) they have been out of their powder so I’ve been shopping around for alternatives. Huel is okay but is too gritty for me, never seems to smoothen out enough for my liking, no matter how much you mix it.

I just got an order of Plenny Shakes recently and I prefer it over Huel, but it was a bit of a bummer to find out the flavors for Plenny aren’t that strong. They’re very “La Croix” in the flavor area. But they do smoothen out nicely after half a minute shaking.

I still mainly recommend Soylent (they do still have premade shakes,) and a soft recommendation to Plenny Shakes, but hell even Boost Shakes or Slimfast shakes would do.

Mainly try to keep an easy shake meal for when you don’t feel like eating or cooking. It’s not an ultimate answer, but drinking a meal is better than not having one at all.

  • Same! I rewatch DBZ Abridged all the time! Funny enough, never actually watched DBZ or any of Dragon Ball in its entirety, but I’ve played a LOT of the games and basically know the entire story, front to back, from the games and Abridged lol

I would absolutely say Something Witty Entertainment is 100% on par with TFS. They do such a great job taking SAOs original story and making it ACTUALLY make sense, while adding a lot more comedy and sometimes some actually heart breaking moments.

Added bonus, it’s still ongoing! They basically only release one episode a year now, but I think every episode is worth the wait because they put in a lot of effort. They do some other Abridged series as well (like a newer ongoing series of My Hero Academia,) but I believe SAOA is their longest running one right now.

  • Got sick for a full week the moment I got back from my New Year’s celebration visit to family, then got sick again a week after I got better from the first time. Then my apartment flooded due to a water heater busting in the apartment above me. Still cleaning up from that. Then I had to quit my job due to a toxic work environment and start a new one with a pay cut, and then the day I go to quit, my grandfather dies (wasn’t close to him but the aftermath was rough.)

And now another family member is on death’s door, so I’ll probably have to go to a second funeral this year.

Needless to say, 2025 hasn’t been my year😮‍💨

I’ll be honest man, this doesn’t sound like “Low IQ”, it sounds like maybe a mental disorder that you haven’t been able to treat yet (ADHD is the first one to come to mind.)

I say that because I can relate a bit, but I have been formally diagnosed with ADHD. I would maybe look into the symptoms of that and others and you might be surprised to find that you relate to it.

You’re not stupid because you can’t concentrate, just my two cents 🤙

(I would also argue that a “Low IQ” individual wouldn’t necessarily be able to recognize the issues you describe.)

  • Right there with you, brother (or sister.)

I’m heavily not religious, but my own personal head cannon for what I want an “afterlife” to be like is to just essentially be a ghost. But not bound to any specific location and be able to ignore most laws of the universe. Not having to worry about human essentials like eating, drinking, bathroom, time, etc. And just be able to experience the rest of the world AND be able to travel outside of earth and discover the vastness of space and onward.

I don’t really believe in this, but it’s just what I would want if ever given a choice.

If we’re talking straight up cancelled, then I will forever be sad that Scalebound was cancelled.

I’m sure it wasn’t going to be as great as I was hoping anyways, but damn the concept looked so cool, and when I saw a dude with headphones jamming out to music fighting with his dragon buddy I was like “I want to be that!” Like it felt like that game was being made especially for me and my interests, and then it got cancelled 😔
