I wouldn’t be surprised to learn if they use the sex offender registry to recruit for ICE

I’m no attorney and (luckily) have never been in a situation where I’ve had to use my firearm in defense of my life. But I will say, it depends on the circumstances. In Texas (and other states I’m sure), we are encouraged to only use firearms as a last resort of defense and in a situation where any other action would likely or reasonably result in our death (apart from maybe your home, castle doctrine). So out in public, it would be tricky to justify the use of deadly force where you might otherwise have had the option of running away from your alleged captors, calling local law enforcement, or some other course of action.

If you do survive the encounter, you will see the inside of a courtroom and I have a feeling the proceedings will be biased against you.

That being said, a few tips:

1. get in range time
2. don’t miss
3. don’t shoot anyone from behind
4. you shouldn’t want to murder people, but if you do open fire, make sure they can’t take legal action against you afterwards…
5. be able to explain exactly why you did what you did, and in response to questions like “why did you shoot this person?” be sure to avoid phrases like “I had to kill them”

Jordanlund’s comment could be read/interpreted that way sure, but personally I read it more as “yes gta is a big/popular/genre-defining game, but not my cup of tea” kind of vibe.

I have played and enjoyed previous gta titles, but I myself am partial to slower more thoughtful games like Baldur’s Gate (I suspect same could be said for jordanlund as well).

The comment calls out republican hypocrisy, particularly about their “pro-life” stance on abortion but after that child is born, worse than not caring about said child republicans promote policies that will harm them.

Coming from a US citizen, Canada, get your people (more) educated. Idk the specifics and exact differences, for example whether or not higher education is publicly funded over there, but I’m talking about simply general awareness and enthusiasm to want to learn. Do like a PR campaign to equate being dumb and ignorant to hating hockey and maple syrup. Also moral education classes wouldn’t hurt (but you guys might be ahead of the US on that anyway).
