56·2 years agoPFAS, which are needed to produce teflon and other nonstick materials. It currently begins to attack attention, but wasn’t really an issue a few years ago. It doesn’t decay naturally so it will be forever in the environment. The EU is even planning to ban all PFAS.

6·2 years agoIt depends on the platform. For YouTube that’s definitely true, but not for Instagram, Twitter, Reddit, Mastodon, Lemmy or Threads. If It’s easier to create content for those platforms, users will create content for those platforms.
