It used to be a respected standard for developers and hosts to be somewhat open and friendly to 3rd party devs, because ultimately they’re customers and they’re helping recruit and retain customers, they should be treated with respect. just because it’s innovative and disruptive to invent the machine gun doesn’t mean it’s good

It literally doesn’t have to be a bad thing, either. We don’t judge people who take on prestigious corporate jobs that will by nature make them more stressed and worn down. They get money, 75% of us get to eat tasty food and treats.

shit has gotten too bloated these days. i mean even in my head 8GB still sounds like ‘a lot’ of RAM and 16GB feels extravagant
hosts file block twitter/reddit/facebook/etc on all my computers. i guess i haven’t done it on my phone because i can’t be bothered [and regardless of how much i need a hit, i’m not gonna sit there on my phone browser for hours anyway]
