Kitchenaid has really gone downhill tbh. I got their higher end model and returned it after it struggled to knead dough. They’re made for cake batter and cookie dough these days, not bread making.

I went with an Ankarsrum and i love the damn thing. Small learning curve but being able to just drop ingredients in the open top is amazing

I have legitimately gassed out my parents house with airborn capsaicin making salsa (also, don’t rinse out a cooking pot using steaming hot water, folks!) using some unusually potent habaneros and scorpion peppers. Great way to clear your sinuses, lingered for a couple days though

Full sets of matching cookware. Its almost always a bunch of display junk that never gets used. Buy your stuff as individual pieces, you’ll likely have nicer quality. This goes for pots, pans, knives, silverware, spatulas, damn near everything cooking related.

Personal opinion, all-clad is overrated. Their skillet/saucepan handles are shit and hurt to hold for longer cooking sessions.

Oh yeah, i always forget most people (at least in the US) can’t. I learned to drive on a stick shift pickup and took my drivers license test in it 😁
