It’s definitely Muslamic
It’s definitely Muslamic
Don’t make their job easier for them. Fuck them! Health is wealth.
The state need not kill those that killing themselves
Don’t make it an easy job for 'em
The killing of kids with £2 chicken and chips
Is a tactic of war, waged on the poor
Can’t save wages on slave wages
And you don’t think fresh fruit with your face on the floor
Nah, you need money for the kids
Rent and light plus food in the fridge
But that last box can be the hardest tick
'Cause scraps will suffice but they might make you sick
As a child I used to chow take out
Twenty-four hours later skin break out
Felt so heavy with it sitting in my belly
Dessert was a sugar coated candy jelly
Fam that’s pig meat. Mashing up the kidney
Make sure no government has to kill me
I was killing myself till I realised danger
Brain, heart, liver and lungs can hit failure
Now season daal and veg with fresh herbs
Cut caffeine because it messed with nerves
Plenty lentils and chickpea curry
20 minute meal for a man in a hurry
That’s real fast food that won’t break the bank
With enough nutrients to fill the tank
Drink water for the body’s natural power
But water from taps can taste sour
Food deserts are designed to starve us
No fresh produce but we’ve got Starbucks
Calories packed in treats to enlarge us
May not see the effects but the heart does
Can’t breathe, can’t sleep, can’t run
Casomorphin wreaks havoc on the lungs
Just like fizzy wreaks havoc on the gums
And my old man said diabetes ain’t fun
Ginger root is good for the youts
Blend it up and share a fresh juice
Burn sage, cleanse the room
Body is a temple, don’t let it be a tomb
The food you choose to consume can damage
Processed meats intestines can’t manage
Cattle farming still killing off the planet
And it tells us everyday that it can’t stand it
Earth getting hotter while the sea levels rise
All because you want burger with those fries
All because you want milkshake with the meal
Then to combat diarrhoea you take pills
What’s the deal? Eat right, stay active
Stay strong 'cause the revolution is real
Never know when a man might have to dash
And a pig can’t kill what a pig can’t catch
It’s more than just eating right, it’s survival
Rasta man tell the youts eat Ital
Daily exercise, fresh air is vital
Whether you short walk, run or take cycle
Meditate to live life and love it
Plus stress increases acid in stomachs
Read and chill to keep the mental covered
And when you find struggle, try rise above it
I find peace in the books on the shelf
Food on the stove while it cooks I can smell
It’s gonna be good by the looks I can tell
And it won’t put my body through hell, well
Well, I want strength like Phelps
Good practises and discipline helps
Not for the six-pack, I do it for myself
'Cause it’s true what they say your health is wealth
Be healthy, be strong, alright
Oh by the way, remember you are a gift to yourself and a gift to your environment
Continue to be that beautiful gift
Share that gift in your food, and all your gastronomic mastery
Join the IWW.

They will have links to local protest and activist groups.
Ask them what they need. They will be the most in the know for your area.
You may have a skill that they require that you could do in you free time, you may just be an extra body to help carry items, or pad out a protest. Financial donations might help but don’t feel obliged if you’re not in a position to. People power is more important than financial power.
Encourage friends and family to do similar.
Try not to feel mad as everyone around you continues life as normal and accuses you of being a paranoid conspiracy theorist.
Read, be informed of what you’re resisting and why.
Stay hopeful. Don’t let the bastards grind you down.
A family that may not exist once the Nazis have carte blanche. Do you think resistance movements in other countries don’t also have families to feed? They still manage multi day resistance. If you go home after one day then you achieve nothing. I know there’s a huge wealth gap in America but there’s still huge swathes of suburbia who can survive without income for a while. Despite what you’ve been led to believe there’s more to life than generating money. Stand up for it.
Believe it or not, I have. Nothing to do with No Kings though, because if you look at my server name I’m across the pond and have other problems to deal with.
I’m not denying some people are doing things. But not enough. Not nearly enough. Trump’s approval ratings are still in the mid to high 40s ffs.
That excuse might fly in most countries, but not in one specifically designed to resist turning into a dictatorship. One that has spent its history going around the world telling (and violently forcing) other countries how to run their country. One that has very loudly, very vocally, decried dictatorships and puffed up it’s chest declaring it to be the pinnacle of democracy, liberty, and freedom. Constantly, loudly, saying that all those school shootings are just unfortunate collateral damage because the population requires guns to resist tyranny. Where’s these checks and balances we always hear about? Where’s the resistance to tyranny? Where is the land of the brave and the home of the free?
Too many Americans don’t care, they only want money or their bread and circuses. Politics be damned. Convince those greedy, selfish, lazy fucks to care or risk being doomed to dictatorship for a very long time.
My comment, obviously, doesn’t encompass all Americans. I’m not xenophobic. But it does encompass a large enough percentage that a well documented fascist dictatorship is being allowed to happen. One where the dictator said he would be one on day one, and he was still voted for. One where the plan was published online for all to read in advance, and nothing was done.
No Kings was huge, but then it fizzled out. And each day that passes allows the Republicans a stronger and stronger hold, as they arrest and deport those who may create resistance.
First they came for the socialists immigrants…
Showed up for one day, and then went back to work the next day after letting off some steam.
Trump is still in charge. You still have a dictator.
ICE still does what it wants. Masked unidentifiable men are still kidnapping people off the streets.
America is being destroyed at record pace and “the land of the brave” have done very little so far to stop it.
The Iraq war 2 protests had record numbers but it still happened. Protest needs to either be sustained over a period of time or combined with other actions. So far, No Kings hasn’t done that and it’s therefore achieved nothing.
I heard it was a special military operation, only meant to last 3 days.
Trump’s only on board because he thought it was Operation Jailbait
Passive seems to describe the American attitude to democracy as well.
That’s an awful lot of excuses for allowing fascism to proliferate.
Democracy isn’t just ticking a box every 4-5 years and being done with it.
If you don’t want to live under autocracy then you need to actually show up and make your voice heard.
37.5% of the US population could make time to watch the Super Bowl but less than 2% could make time to walk through their town/city centre? Shameful.
If the numbers of 4-6 million are true then less than 2% of Americans showed up. The pictures of big crowds was impressive, but that’s not enough. To the outside world, it looks like you have bowed down.
Take inspiration from this protest in The Netherlands and chastise your neighbours, your colleagues, your friends and family, to march, or this time next year America may just be a fully fledged fascist state with no personal freedom.
It only helps if you’re willing to go onto the street and tell Trump and his fascist buddies the same message.
Because otherwise, they’ll do far worse than a nerd on the internet telling you to think.
98.5% of the population had to work on a Saturday?
Was No Kings truly a one day protest when there’s been anti-Trump protests dotted around for weeks? It’s one part of a larger group of protests.
All of the numbers I took were for one day turnouts. They’re comparable.
Then you’ve not engaged your brain.
How easy was communication in 1986 compared to now?
How easy was mobilisation, in an island nation, under a dictatorship?
Americans still have most of their freedoms, use them before you lose them.
4 years of the alarm ringing, a 4 year snooze, and then 6 months of the alarm ringing again is an awfully long time to take to wake up. All whilst living in the “richest” country in the world, with the freedom to carry guns, and say what you want. That’s… Even more pathetic than I first thought.
Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed seeing the pictures and videos of thousands, millions, of people marching, but you can do better.
For context:
5% of the Italian population protested the Iraq war.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/15_February_2003_anti-war_protests
Approximately two million people joined their hands to form a human chain spanning 690 kilometres (430 mi) across the three Baltic states of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, which at the time were occupied and annexed by the USSR and had a combined population of approximately eight million.[2]
That’s 25% of the population.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baltic_Way
3.3% of the Phillipines population protested in 1986 whilst under a dictatorship.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/People_Power_Revolution
Edit:
37.5% of the US population watched the Super Bowl in 2025 but less than 2% protested a fascist takeover of the country. Shows your priorities. The downvotes also really tell that your feels are hurt more than caring about the reals of the situation.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Bowl_television_ratings
Edit 2: 200k just marched in The Netherlands against genocide. That’s 1.09% of their population marching for an issue that doesn’t even personally affect them, because they have principles. But y’all can’t even get double that for an issue that will personally effect the rest of your lives. Shame.
What you gonna do? Phone the polis?
