I think we should attack this issue at the root. There are already backdoors in the devices anyway, so what’s this court case really going to achieve? I get it, because it would be a known backdoor, but think of all the nastier NSA backdoors that aren’t disclosed to the public. We’ve lost already by the masses using this proprietary garbage. Schools have failed to teach libre software, this is one of the major reasons we’re here in the first place.
Apple is all proprietary anyways, so you shouldn’t trust them still, even if they win this court case. I recommend using Librebooted Dell OptiPlex 780’s or Dell E4300 Latitude’s with Trisquel GNU/Linux + Tor Browser with Javascript disabled if your looking for the most privacy in your internet activites. You can do what you wish with this information.

I’m just starting to feel like this is all too much for me, I have to study for my certifications for my next job, I don’t have that much time to learn Spanish right now… If she hadn’t told basically everyone, I would’ve learned for her.
Yeah, sure. The point is if she tells everyone someone will eventually find out and I feel like I will get in trouble. I provided testing and funding (not as a developer) for computers like the 9020, 9010, 7010, and 780 OptiPlex, as well as the E4300 Latitude and T1700 Precision. All it takes is some collaboration with others in the community to make it possible!

I did use procmon and saw that it was creating/closing a file in the C: directory. I gave access to the other folders it was trying to access (e.g. C:\Users\Public\CameraSoftware) but it’s still asking for admin privelleges. I tried doing the Task Scheduler method as well, did not work for me unfortunaely. Thanks for your response btw!

I own plenty of Libreboot computers without Intel Management Engine (2006-2009 era). For the average user in today’s world, I don’t see many people using them unless definitive proof came out that the government uses the IME to spy on them. These 2006-2009 era desktops/laptops can have the entire IME firmware removed, along with a 100% free BIOS. I collect as many as I can.
I work at a laundry place that has atleast over 50+ Spanish women. It’s 90% women and 10% men, I am literally in heaven everyday here.

One of the main reasons I’m learning Spanish is so I can talk to the Spanish girl at work, lol. However, I’ve already tried before with another girl who only speaks Spanish, and I honestly didn’t like the fact that we couldn’t communicate much. It was my fault because I didn’t know anything except “Hola” and very basic terms.
Google Translate relationships can be pretty frustrating. I’m wondering if I could reach a good level if I dedicated a full month to studying. So far, I’m doing one hour a day. Maybe this girl at work wouldn’t mind teaching me along the way if we get into a relationship?
