  • You have been trying to “replace” them for decades. How is that working out for you?

You too have been trying to “replace” them for decades. How is that working out for you? We’ve gotten a few elected and pushed a few more in that direction. Where is your progress? You don’t get to start the clock over every election and pretend that your approach hasn’t been tried.

There is no coming over to the progressive side, because the progressive side doesn’t exist in that party.

I’m talking about voters, and I think that was pretty clear. If all you do in alienate voters, then your movement is nothing but performative.

  • Any time military comes in contact with civilians there is the possibility that force will be required. If protesters become violent towards soldiers, (not something I’m saying is likely) then soldiers will have to respond.

The rules you are referring to prohibit the military from getting involved in law enforcement (essentially arrests). They can still participate in peacekeeping, and peacekeeping (somewhat ironically) always involves the possiblity of violence.

I think it’s important for protesters to be aware of the actual rules the police and military are obliged to follow. There is a lot of incorrect information going around.

  • Great work!?!? Atta boy!?!? What are ya looking for here? The world is burning and you didn’t bother to do the one small thing that could have made a difference, and you think that’s something to brag about?

Over 10,000 people have died so far just from USAID cuts, and another 23,000 from the PEPFAR funding freeze. Those numbers alone are ticking up faster than the Gaza death toll, which is still happening BTW. But, not to worry, Rodneyck kept his integrity, and that’s what’s really important.

Politics is about achieving the best possible outcome, not making personal virtue statements.

  • Those are IPv6 addresses that work a bit differently than IPv4. Most customers only get assigned a single IPv4 address, and even a lot of big data centers only have one or two blocks of 256 addresses. The smallest allocation of IPv6 for a single residential customer is typically a contiguous block of the 18,446,744,073,709,551,616 addresses mentioned.

If Google’s security team is even marginally competent, they will recognize those contiguous blocks and treat them as they would a single IPv4 address. Every address in that block has the same prefix, and it’s actually easier to track on those prefixes than on the entire address.
