Biden took office during COVID and rebuilt the economy. Those salaries are not competitive. Not that they should be because executive pay is out of control, but they are also in no way extravagant and possibly too low or at least the bare minimum to retain any kind of decent talent to run the operation.
Poverty figures made a record jump of 11 points in the span of six months.
All they needed is to sacrifice the poor. Poverty is now at 53% in the country.

If you switched jobs you probably got a double digit pay rise, and many people were doing it. That’s what drove the number.
However, the job market is kinda crashing right now in 2024. So I don’t think it’s a trend that will continue.

Companies don’t do profit-sharing because they have no pressure or incentive to do so. In other words, they can get away with not profit-sharing so they do.
Co-ops are community projects. They arise out a strong, educated and engaged community. This does not exist in the US at large. That’s why about the only place with co-ops in the whole country is NYC.
