I just looked it up. I’m not sure how I missed this one, but i guess im not missing much. Sad because the trailer looked OK and the team behind it should have at least made an average game. I guess I’ll read up on what makes it so bad now.

I’m definitely in the minority, but i really never had or have any issues with Windows or Teams like everyone seems to complain so much about. With that said, I absolutely love that they are making this move. As someone who works in the area and sees the pricing and how much our company spends on Microsoft I find it appalling and absurd that anyone is willing to spend that much on licensing… I wish I could work on a project like this just to see what the savings could be overall.
It says they will be replaced soon, so im assuming it’s phase 2.
I’ll never understand the hate for doing this. To me, it makes perfect sense as to why you would not release the game on PC at the same time. If you don’t have people buying your system, then you’re done. Xbox is going through this now. It seems almost guaranteed they give up on developing systems and pivot exclusively to PC someday. I’ll be shocked if that handheld system they are about to release takes off.
Keep the exclusives and timed releases. If I really want to play it, I’ll buy the system or wait, it’s not a big deal.
Super Furry Animals. Probably seen them about 15 times if not a little more. This includes solo tours since they started doing there own thing near the end of SFA sadly. Still hoping they get back together but it doesn’t look very good. I wanna say the last time I saw them was a really random tour they did a few years after thinking they were split up. I think that was around 2016?
Early 40’s married and 2 younger kids. I watch trailers and sometimes play demos, lol. I keep up with the news and over the years my game list that used to be about 10 games a year was 5 then 3 and now it’s been like 1 or 2 games a year that I buy. I haven’t actually finished any of them either… friends poke fun at me for it as well. I really wish I could play, but it’s just not in the cards these days, sadly. I feel like as soon as I sit down, I’m beckoned to take care of something, or one of the kids needs something. I stay up later than everyone else just to get a few hours to do something but I almost never feel the need to play something because I’m either to tired or I play the same 1 game for the past 5 years which is fall guys since a bunch of us hop in and chat while playing something quick and dumb. Mostly, I’ve just been watching TV shows and passing out within the hour. Always tired these days lol.
I took this statement as don’t have any more kids because it’s most likely having them is what lead to their own divorce. Having kids is insanely hard and you have to change who you are to make things work. Some people are awful at that, which leads to fighting and being miserable. As someone with 2 kids, I can say it’s very, very hard…
I keep thinking, will he even make it to the release? 2027 is a long way away for someone that’s 99. It’s also crazy to think that he was still in his 60’s when the first was made.
And here i am with my phone still stuck on 14… I know it was a short time between 15 and 16, but still, catch up a little bit! Honestly, my only complaint about Android. I am not a fan of the pixel series either.
Edit: Never mind! I decided to check for an update and found it was ready as of early May, but for some reason, my phone didn’t check. Installing now. Now to wait another 8 months for 16.
I don’t dislike what I saw. Personally, I just think they are already too late to enter the market and be a big success. We just saw the numbers that Linux is killing it in almost all categories on the Legion compared to a windows OS, which is pretty bad news to have less than a month before showcasing this. It’s not like the Xbox brand is doing that wonderful these days, either. I think it will sell but not do as good as expected, and they will move on or completely give up. From what I hear, Xbox in general, is barely holding on these days. I love what gamepass did, but that may be all that remains if they can’t sell more hardware.
If I had to pick any 1 device that’s either out now or soon to be out, I am definitely not picking this one. I will also be sad if they fail since we all know the competition is what keeps things from getting stagnant and also keep prices down.
It’s officially the era of the handheld. There’s going to be so many failures… nobody is going to buy all these different options, 1 or 2 will succeed, and the others will fade out once they realize the numbers will never be what they expected.
Maybe they should have had a plan B for situations like this. It’s great to take care of your own, but this is a perfect example as to why you can’t put all your eggs into one basket.
I’m looking forward to trying this one. Been following it for a while now and it’s interesting.
I’m sure this guy is still living the good life as well. There’s no way he is struggling at all and that’s the part i hate the most. Our system sucks so much…
I never had nose hair that bothered me until my mid 30’s. I think that may be what they mean. I now trim all the time. Otherwise, my nose gets super itchy. I also have no idea how people pull them… hurts so much.
When i was younger and only a few years into my career, I and a coworker talked crap about our 2 bosses for a while over Google chat. It’s what we were asked to use back them internally, but it wasn’t even our work accounts. We only talked because they were being absolutely awful. Well, joke was on us when they got suspicious and searched our computers and found the chats were locally saved… Oops! They gave us another chance shockingly but did chew us out. I’m still at this place, but none of those people exist here anymore and that was super long ago.
Not even, it’s a tech demo and has nothing to do with the game outside the assets used. That village will most likely not exist in the final product. I still think it looks fantastic and can’t wait to see more. I would hope this means they are close to releasing something later this year and maybe even get a release date.
It says it’s been doing this for 8 years. So, since AI hasn’t even been around that long, does that mean they were always like this and just lied that they switched over to AI? I wonder if they just encouraged the current employees to field the response and then they would run it through another AI to provide answers. Either way there had to be some delay which I feel would have been the dead giveaway?
Congrats! I have been at my job 19 years now and we used to have that program where at 10 years you got a watch at the yearly holiday party. They sold the company the year before my 10th, and I think I was the last year to get the watch before they shut all of that down… used to be every 5 years after the 10th, you got something. Now? You don’t even get anything of acknowledgement, and there definitely is no holiday party anymore. They wonder why nobody cares.
He has come a long way from the Man Show, lol.
