They removed the options to skip battle animations for the newer games. There’s an option that removes cutscenes, but that doesn’t affect anything in battles like the ten minute long terastallizations.

Yeah, my wife and I like going through archives to find shows that didn’t age well, then show those scenes to friends for laughs.
Was watching some 1940s Looney Tunes, and you expect and see racism, which makes it predictable, but every once in a while, they get in a joke or bit that catches everyone by surprise.
Here’s a scene that took place in the middle of a nice episode about National Parks: https://youtu.be/p0wtlI8qF1Ehttps://youtu.be/p0wtlI8qF1E
Yeah that’s the way to go, sadly. Funny enough I was eventually able to enjoy Pokémon through the fan game Pokerogue then a RuneScape rom hack called pokescape
Pokemon - having to watch animations and not being able to speed anything up killed my interest
Skyrim - tried a melee run recently and the combat feels like you’re whacking air
The legend of Zelda - played Tears and the story and puzzles were a bit too kid friendly
Doom - I really tried to like it but I felt like I didn’t get anything out of it. It doesn’t scratch that itch I get out of FromSoft’s Souls games where I want to learn a boss’s patterns and die to it a million times.
In general I don’t think I can do story games anymore
Personally, I’m skipping the Switch 2 because I used my Switch 1 like four times since its launch.
The Switch 2 will likely have games similar to ones that came before it, so if you haven’t been tempted into trying those, you probably won’t be into the new ones.
Like, I’d want the Switch 2 for Mario Kart World but then realized that I played Kart 8 like twice. Online play didn’t scratch the itch, my wife sucked at it, and it was hard to get a group IRL together to play often.
Maybe try emulating some of the older versions of games you’re interested in. It’ll at least give you an idea of how much fun you’d have on the newer versions.
Also ask yourself if you’re a handheld gamer. I don’t think I am which is why I also don’t use my steam deck ever.
Brother, it’s Harry Potter which is not exactly a thing you can’t live without lmfao
You’re making it sound like they’re asking you to give up breathing
Damn all I found in my walls was mould
Pie weights should be easy to buy in stores and probably aren’t made of lead lol
Every RuneScape player knows there’s zero chance agility gets a buff
🎵The greatest thing you’ll ever learn Is just to love and be loved in return 🎵
I’m a Loot Goblin that spacebars through the story too, but Borderlands hasn’t been able to scratch that itch in a long time.
The last one I played was Tina’s Wonderland and everything about it was a slog. I didn’t care about any of the loot or any of the fights and I definitely didn’t care about the story.
Right? I didn’t realize how disinterested I was in Borderlands until I read that.
There’s always a few topics that bring the most annoying people out and manual driving is one of them.
No a learner isn’t going to destroy a clutch. You could also grind a gear a dozen times in a learner session and still not strip it.
These types of shitty comments only keep people from trying new things out of fear or embarrassment.
Driving a manual is easy if you already know how to drive. I got my lesson from a dude who sold me my first manual. You’ll fuck up a bit but you won’t break anything.
Take the automatic if you’re worried and just enjoy your vacation
Idk how you even get a job these days without connections or an online app
Have someone that’s working in the field you’re applying for take a look at your resume and cover letters.
My wife works for the govt so their resumes have a distinctly long look and formatting to them. I’ve bothered my wife plenty of times with a friend’s resume and she has sent people my way.
It’s a terrible system but since it’s a shitty numbers game you might as well stack whatever you can in your favor
I lived in an apartment without an ac and I also wasn’t allowed to install a window ac.
I ended up buying a portable ac which got the job done well enough. They’re not perfect but they’re miles better than open windows with box fans.
Yeah like I can’t say it’s not a conspiracy theory (that I agree with) but marking it is still very… bold?
MomCorp was taken!
I love the jank message summaries
I got one the other day that summarized a message from my 75 year old mom as a conspiracy theory. I can’t imagine having the confidence to mark a clients message as a conspiracy theory even if it 100% was.
Here’s the summary:
Conspiracy theory about government agencies being privatized for profit.
Original text:
They would turned it into a private owned so they can profit from it. That’s why they changing all the government agencies and turn it into profitable businesses for them. See how all the big corporations are lined up with trump.
I’ve played both of those, and I really enjoyed Talos 2 since it mostly just fed you lore while you were trying to do a puzzle, but don’t ask me what the story was because I couldn’t tell ya.
I didn’t mean I couldn’t connect with the story in just those games, but in games in general. So when I talk about a game, I don’t really put much weight into my thoughts on the story, just the mechanics.
