Being arrogant was my only flaw, but I overcame it, and now I’m perfect.
I can totally see EU pushing a handful of form factors and making anything not conformant more expensive by taxes.
Sure it’s a cat and mouse situation, but there can’t be any progress if someone is not willing to play the cat.
Water resistant devices are a thing we figured out in the 70s. There have been WR phones since before integrated batteries even became a thing. Even before Apple made the iPhone. It’s not a question of if it can be done. It’s a question of if enough people can be educated into preferring a WR phone, because It costs a few extra bucks to produce WR phones. And when they complete against non WR phones they always lose. Integrated batteries made the gap smaller, at the cost of making the device less repairable/maintainable.

It’s not a matter of understanding the failure is systemic.
Shareholders only buy shares for the expected growth, not so much for the dividends. Dividends are literally pennies on the hundred dollar costs. Single digits percent annually.
