My very early gen, Nook glowlight is still going somehow. I even bought it used for 50 bucks about 10 years ago. The battery is still decent and backlights fine and I am able to keep it offline. Im not sure what I would do if it croaked.

I know it’s not much but get your flu shot this year. You don’t want to fight them at the same time.

As someone who will need to market myself under a pen name soon, I’m not really seeing alternatives they have a youtube like lion-share of the people. I created accounts for Mastodon, Bluesky, and Pixelfed. But, they feel far from adequate. So my plan going forward is to do all those plus twitter even though I loathe it, I got bills to pay.

Some author will totally use that book title.

I forgot to mention this mod isn’t 100% finished yet, it only goes about to the start of bombardment. I was so impressed by what has been done so far I thought it was worth mentioning despite that. Hopefully by the time you are ready to do another play through they’ll be done.

There are new, hidden, and redone areas. They made it so that you go from training to the first chapter. Tram ride isn’t done yet from what I’ve seen. You have the option to swap between wrench, crowbar, and knife at different points. There is light shaft work. Some little details like functionally light switches and rooms with what is basically asmr half life noises. Enemies have new attacks if select extended difficulty. Its a long list Im sure I left out something.

I found this program too when I switched my working os to linux mint but haven’t tried it out yet. I’ll have to try it out soon. Glad to hear good things.
