Health; education; energy production; food production & distribution; water; housing; mass transit and telecommunications should all be classified as essential services and nationalised. Everything else can be whatever.

Every great journey begins with a massive shit.
I think we’ve moved beyond this. It is now about the facsists and the non-fascists.
Any tolerance or acceptance of what the Trump administration is doing, infers complicity in the desecration of US democracy.
I concur. I don’t want stylish. I want functional, compliant and for it not to harvest my fucking data. All that fucking flair and visual wankery can get in the bin if it’s not gonna do the essentials.
If you wipe them with an old tea towel you can put them in the draw that contains all the other things that don’t go into any other drawer. Then you can hand wash the towel and hang it out to dry to be used again in the future.
This the plan. No government -> no regulations. No regulations -> no lube. No lube -> the US citizenry’s anus. Gaping, flaccid, prolapsed US citizenry’s anus’ -> corporate profits.
Metaphorically speaking of course.
A popular LBC presenter, James O’Brien, refers to him as Tommy-Ten-Names which is apt because Yaxley-Lennon is a massive cunt.
Jesus Fucking Christ…I hope this is satire. Bloke reaches out for some ideas on how to improve a situation he clearly sees is happening and wants to prevent and then BAM you drop this massive turd in his punchbowl of life.
Also, it’s ‘facade’.
Bush did it for his corporate masters, Blair did it for misguided righteousness and Howard did it because he wanted to be a war time prime minister…all of them are fucking war criminals.
I am very late to the party but a friend gave me one of these. Better than any keyboard I have ever had and I’m an old bastard.

I bet Donnie wants Ronnie to two finger eat pudding out of his arse to get the job.
So what you’re saying is that they (the city) treated it as a medical problem and not a law enforcement problem. Now you’re seeing fewer deaths and better outcomes for addicts who clearly need help. All they need to do now is work on the mental health issues to treat homelessness and addiction and then gain societal profit. It’s like there is a kinda of logic to treating people with empathy and respect results in better outcomes…
If he’s made himself the only validator in Perimeter then he may well get the last laugh in death.
Yes. You are correct. On reflection I should have put quotes around it as it was intented to convey that but not actually imply that it was the case. It is good you called it out.

Agree. I would also insist on it being supported by a socialised health system with control over pharmaceutical pricing.
And of course they put aside enough money to have their corpses removed and all the rubbish they took up with them…right? Self indulgent, ego stroking narcissism is what this is. They could have used their wealth to help community development programs in Nepal and pushed for making Everest a restricted world heritage site.
That anywhere else is better.
I think you make a good case for making energy production a public utility. Private ownership of essential services is ethically bankrupt. The fact that a company can fail and leave people without core services, is disgusting in my opinion. Even more disgusting is that they almost always seek public funds to bail them out.
I bet the Maxwell shit apple did not fall far from the Maxwell shit tree…so I imagine enough that some needed to visit Russia on the 4th of July one year after the Russians came for a Whitehouse warming visit.
