By “In my experience” I meant that I’ve known several of my fellow swedes turn Nazi and move to Japan because they’re not judged for xenophobia there (something you’d know if you had ever been). They still visit the embassy to vote for the Nazi party every election of course.
Swedes who move to Japan are in my experience pretty damn far-right leaning (as in, wants to be able to wear their SS cosplay uniform and wear swastika pins in public). Got bad vibes from Pewdiepie the moment he moved from Sweden to the UK for “better internet”. At the time Sweden had way larger fibre coverage than the UK. Dude just wanted to avoid taxes.

In the end. They need votes. And they target the weak and stupid. Remind your elders that they will go straight into a bad home if they vote conservative. Try to get your friends and family off facist owned social media. That weirdo at work getting uppety because he feels the winds are turning in his favour? Point out in front of everyone every time he repeats a conservative lie. Never let anything slide.
That’s the problem with “conservatives”. You can never be 100% sure whether they are evil och just stupid. That uncertainly acts like protection for them.

It’s likely they don’t know what the word “conscious” means
25 days off per year MINIMUM required by law. At least that’s how it works in Sweden. Very common to have extra vacation days as a benefit. Then add the “red days” like first of may (international workers day, also outdoor fucking day according to some). There are 13 of them this year so minimum 38 days off. Americans were just too stupid to fight for it.

I agree but it’s beside the point (the liberal party in my country is openly supporting the nazi party). For profit media can per definition not be objective but at least it has to comply with the laws of the country it operates in. The internet bypasses all this legislation and pretty much every country was slow to catch up.
What really grinds my gears is when my fellow countrymen believe propaganda about our state sponsored media. Which cannot be controlled by our government because it’s been proxied off behind several foundations running it. The only thing our government can do (and then only with support from the opposition) is reduce or increase money going into it. It’s pretty much the only source of reporting in my language without sponsors dictating content.
The only problem is that the U.S doesn’t really have a trade surplus to put in that fund.
That’s the whole point of screaming about “liberal” or “leftist” media for all this time even when most media outlets are owned by for profit orgs. They usually have to comply with laws. On social media you’ve been able to lie as much as you want without consequence or being called out. Corporations mostly use this to market to children and get them addicted to gambling.
I’m sure there are exceptions and I’m sure there will be more studies on this subject in the coming years. Now that technological advancement have slowed somewhat, the issue will become more apparent.
People over 60 shouldn’t be working. Cognitive abilities go downhill fast from there. It’s not always noticeable in the beginning but a 70 year old is mentally pretty much a child with experience.
