Justice can not be served for black people or other racial minorities if we pull up the wealth ladder and tax them as they get money. The system was racist and allowed white people to get ahead if you tax everyone equally who do you harm the poorer and newer wealthy people. We had a racist system that allowed wealth to go to white people. We eliminated the slave labor 164 years ago and tradition of viewing and treating other races as less than(in theory 61 years ago). But the white already wealthy people already own everything and have generational wealth. We have not had a thing that helped black people specifically. They were suppose to get 40 acres and a mule. A generation hasn’t even passed of being able to discriminate against races.

If you pull up the ladder of wealth you are only hurting new wealth which would be proportionally more black people versus targeting old wealth which would proportionally be white people.

Lastly Mamdani said he was describing the neighborhood he was targeting with his changes to taxing. He wasn’t going to put language into law that it had to be white people.

Because they have always been win. Evil never sleeps and it will always exist. Good people have to fight every day to make progress. Perfect example is Bernie sanders and democrats. Bernie has been fighting since the 70s. Democrats have been it is good enough things are fine just defend the status quo. Meanwhile people are working everyday to setup bad things with currently things reaching back as far as Clinton and people can argue Reagan.

Chocolate is cheap because you demand it to be so you can have a little treat. You winge at learning about something while eating chocolate. We are sitting comfortable eating chocolate while you cry about learning about inequalities. You are asked to think about inequality about your little treat. It isn’t about chocolate at all. Just take some time to consider your little treat is making someone millions while the person’s hands who made it is hungry and will die at 40 because of the conditions they live in.

No we don’t expect you to completely stop eating chocolate. No we don’t expect you to change the world. We ask you to just think about other people for a moment while you take a break. I know it is hard since most people are being exploited in a different way here in the west and we have our own lives but at least we have so much food here that we won’t go hungry with programs to help funded by how rich we are. Before October 7th life wasn’t peaceful. I don’t like terrorism but if you treat others like second tier people and steal their land they are going to fight back any way they can. You don’t blame an abused animal or person that hurt others you blame the abuser which is Israel. Once you hold the abuser accountable then can you go to therapy and train people that not all people are out to hurt you and not to lash out. Terrorism doesn’t exist in a vacuum. If someone seems like a caged animal look at the abuser. Why does the abusers violence exist? But here is some perspective when has something been won without violence?

Almost every nonviolent movement has been paired with a violent/threatening/defender movement. Then when the people in power attacked the nonviolent movement the public started siding with them and change happened because it was either give some of the nonviolent movements wants or the violent movement was going to make things worse.

One of the main reasons any and everything is hard to get off the ground now. Is media, power, and government people have learned to spin all nonviolent movement to be associated with violence or crush them immediately with force then spin it in the news. Also they have learned how to co opt and blame

George Floyd protests had outside aggravators(cia/fbi/cops) then media associates violence or property damage as a part of the cause, combine that with terrible messaging from coopted power structures then power trapped the chance of the law changing and really nothing major came from it. That along with cops beating the ever living shit out of everyone to scare more and more people

I remember a story from one of schools that got shot up. There was always one that got highlighted in right wing news. They were going to be the Kyle Rittenhouse spokes like person but I think they couldn’t stand being ridiculed by everyone

To put you into a perspective of nazi haters why should they get to live a peaceful life or be forgiven or left alone even if they saw the error of their ways or to desperate to fight back when people lost their future and families because of their group.

As for the drug dealer people see the worst that comes out in people as a druggie and blame the person who keeps enabling. If the druggie could be cut off then someone’s life wouldn’t be ruined.

In every example you gave someone was ruining someone else’s life or future. Of course people personally affect by similar circumstances aren’t going to have as much empathy for these people it takes a lot of compassion, self reflection, love, and forgiveness to be able to be kind to someone who hurt you and your family. Not everyone is in that place.

3. Every day or year we have unbalanced people entering huge amounts of hormones causing their feelings to be imbalanced and every a new person is getting hurt leading to a life where kindness is locked off for awhile maybe forever.

4. Our culture is about retribution many people don’t see proper steps to make things right or see people continue to do bad things. The easy solution is having things not exist anymore so you don’t get hurt again. If you trust bad people they may hurt you. Every decision has a consequence and rarely is it fully made whole even in forgiveness. You can’t give someone back their family, you can’t give someone back an extinct species, you can’t give back the world a stable climate. Of course people will hold hatred

Issue is with 8 billion people there is constantly people learning about sexual orientation, gender, and sex.
