I am really surprised he’s unscathed
Somehow the rocks on the ground caught the boulder and prevented him from being crushed
Might have the big dumb
I hope you have a good day

Chromebooks sound good in theory but fall short because kids are great at breaking them and there is a lack of repairability.
There is also chromeos being kinda ass
Yup safety first!
Rat people unite
You should try chinese mashed potato instant noodle combo
It sounds wack but its actually pretty good. Surprisingly works well, kinda like a creamy noodle soup
This is the one i tried
Probably got flagged as a bot by accident tbh
Happens sometimes, especially if you’re on a vpn
I am reconsidering by thinking of moving out of the country lmao
Not true
They’re trying to add child labor back and reducing retirement funds so people work younger and older
The cogs must turn for shareholder value /s
Thats accurate. Carbohydrates are much more easily broken down to its simple states, while proteins require more to be broken down to amino acids, so it makes you feel full longer. Fibers are also another way to stay feeling full. They’re not digestible, so it takes up space and makes you feel full without adding calories.
The easiest way to boil down weight loss is calories in calories out. If you are in a surplus, you will in most cases gain weight (with some deviance based on genetics and other bodily factors). Lots of carbs is fine if you have a lot of calories out. European people usually have walkable cities, and the infrastructure there promotes lots of calories out on a day to day basis. America is a lot more car centric. The average american has less calories out because walking/cycling is uncommon in most of the US. Coupled with the standard caloric dense american food, it’s easy to see how we are struggling with an obesity problem.
Low carb is just one way to cut down on how many calories you intake. Nothing wrong with it, and there are obviously many other ways to go about it.
Your bug sounds pretty strong, can I fight it?
In a better universe apex and tf3 could have existed at the same time
Unfortunately we live in the universe where games as a live service is the only model that big companies run on, which means all resources must go to just that one game
Neat list, but imo photoshop is closer to being called a photomanipulation/image editor than photography. lightroom is the more dedicated photography software.
Also I wouldn’t call paint.net an alternative to photoshop. I love paint.net but its a relatively simple image editor and its functionally limited even with plugins.
For the number folks:
The most respondents cited high inflation (54%), Social Security not providing as much financial support as they need (43%), and high taxes (43%). Boomers (61%) were more likely than millennials (56%) or Gen Xers (55%) to say high inflation contributed to their fear of running out of money.
But this fear is more prominent among Gen Xers (70%) who are in their 40s and 50s and fast approaching retirement and millennials (66%) than boomers (61%) who are over 60 and many have already retired.
Asian/Asian American respondents (34%) were more likely to have discussed this fear than white (22%), Black/African American (28%), and Hispanic (25%) respondents.
Interestingly no mention of Gen Z, who I guess is just starting their careers so might be why?
Though I’d imagine the doom and gloom is just as high for Gen Z if not more.
Insecurity exacerbated by the rise of social media. It’s really easy for impressionable teens (not just them, but they are the most vulnerable group) to be affected directly by the consequences of social media. Toxic masculinity allows them to fall into the andrew tate trap because it tells them that this is the easy solution to the insecurities they face. I’d argue covid also made this problem worse as well
I carry cash in small amounts because some restaurants prefer cash to avoid the credit card fee
Ah but with the dollar tumbling, US companies will raise prices for the rest of us peasants to make sure profits are never harmed
Hahaha I’ll never own a house lmao
If he is found guilty does not mean he is guilty. That’s the problem with the death penalty. You can release someone if future evidence disproves the conviction. You can’t bring someone back to life if you give them the death penalty.
I dunno about cheaper tbh…
Working there right now. I was originally going to work in cali but due to circumstances ended up here instead… Same company, different team, 30% pay cut pretax.
No state tax, but sales tax is 10+%, and groceries here are slightly higher than cali. Rent and utilities are the exact same as when I was in LA. A 1bd goes for 1300 for a shitty studio with only 200sqft, no stovetop + only a minifridge. The next jump is an actual 1bd but at 1.6k. I got lucky and found a 2bd for 2.5k which im splitting with a roommate, but that’s not normally the case.
I looked at house prices and they’re at 1.2m for most. Which is the same average prices I seen for both norcal and socal.
Depends on what. The most common thing i see is that the kids mess with either the keyboard and or the screen, which you’re basically forced to scavenge another broken Chromebook for because the replacement parts are pretty much like half the cost of the chromebook
If it’s something simple then yea I agree, but kids are menaces against their chromebook so damage usually ends up being on the extreme side.
