At least the US KitKats aren’t Nestle.
I won’t say I’m boycotting Nestle per se, but I try to avoid their stuff. There’s a bag of strawberry cheesecake KitKats from Japan on my desk, lol. They’re pretty good.
Maybe look into Bazzite if you get impatient waiting for SteamOS to become more widely available.
Have you tried… not being a mutant?
Yeah but I see other cities cops around once in a while, they’ve possibly got business at the county and state offices.
I think I’ve seen an unmarked cop SUV in St Paul before, maybe it was one of yours, or maybe it was this fucker?
I think you’re right about creating demand for more consumer like support, someone in in another comment chain on this post mentioned several Danish municipalities doing something similar with their schools…
Is there a relevant cert to do this kind of work yet? I think it would be interesting to do Linux tech support. Maybe just find a junk laptop and work my way through the Arch wiki breaking and fixing stuff (since my main Linux distro has been incredibly hands off so far)?
The weight distribution could be difficult to get right, they’re weighted everywhere. Target has a few I’ve been tempted by, they’re cute and soft, but I can’t in good conscience recommend anyone shop there.
Groverhaus is a vibe coder built house. Load bearing drywall.
I bought a nook simple touch a couple of weeks ago for $20, look into the Phoenix Project for those.
MN here, yesterday was gross. Today will probably be gross. I’m glad to have some leftover n95 masks for my commute to work.
Didn’t the Mythbusters do the peeing on the third rail thing? Seems similar enough.
Most leases don’t have size restrictions for cats, but I think this might be a bit excessive.
Seitan or TVP are probably better as a ground beef substitute and also fairly cheap… but that only really works for heavily seasoned applications like tacos or bolognese.
I’ve read Consider Phlebas, due to either your or another lemmings’ recommendation and it’s very ‘80s sci fi in writing style. I felt it required a bit too much attention for a good audio book at work, but wasn’t really interesting enough to pick up the physical book. Player of Games is supposed to be very different, is it worth giving it a shot or is Iain Banks’ writing just not to my taste?
Even better, the equivalent irl cultures. Most cities have groups advocating for better bike and pedestrian infrastructure and better public transit.
They’re a long time affiliate member of the EBU and big Eurovision fans, they were invited for the 60th Eurovision (IIRC) to mark the event and they’ve just stuck around.
That’s not really weird for American road sizes. If I had to guess that’s more of a stroad with speeds around 64 km/h (40 mph), possibly officially 48 km/h (30 mph) with everyone doing 10 mph over the speed limit because the roads aren’t designed to slow traffic to safe city speeds. Most of our roads are like this, and it’s a contributor to our abhorrent pedestrian fatality rate.
Yeah, but if they left one sister out, could you imagine the kind of snub it would be for her?
Creeps are a problem for more than just women. I downloaded Scruff, a gay dating app, a few weeks ago and the very first interaction I had on there was a guy starting off the interaction asking about my genitals (🚩, but I tactfully disclose being trans in my profile…) and immediately after I explained he asked for pictures. And my profile says I don’t do pics.
Some men just suck.
