  • Want to leave Reddit, but content is SEVERLY LACKING on Lemmy, and the thing that keeps me away from Lemmy is

    1. The people , who thinks Linux is god and anyone says anything else is pure evil/villain and act accordingly here in comments EVERYWHWRE
    2. same as above
    3. I can’t figure out what are Lemmy sub parts and how to access them, till date I have I access to part of Lemmy shown to me via BOOST app, but apart from that I don’t know

  • No i will never donate , this format is just jerking off Linux enthusiast, and every time I say Linux in unusable I get negatively marked. Content on this is not so good.its many time repeat of Reddit. There is not a easy way or guide on how to use Lemmy and connect to all differn t forums within or even find them .

In total this format is useful but not encouraging. So no donations

  • I use same solution as you having tried emby and sonarr etc. the biggest problem got my family and me was searching what to watch and adding it rrr services, we wanted to have netflix but quite instant, not just to watch ( as you might have to wait a while be at 5 or 10 mins on torrent) but also browse, there is so much to watch what should I download, so streamio helped me there, now how to get there media, well debrid services gave us instant access, so it was quite a easy solution.

  • I am in between both platform’s and honestly Reddit still is good source for me for almost anything, Lemmy users seems to be pretentious LINUX users who attacks me all the time when I say Linux is not useful, no variety of content ( of course that right I’ll take time) but I can go through contet of Lemmy within half day at most bit reddit is vast. I do use only rdx so no ads for me, no replies from me. I totally agree with you on Lemmy that we need more communities and also simplification on how to access different federated worlds
