A bit of a niche one: I am a big fan of the TTRPG Lancer, and a popular meme format is describing things in the game by cutting and pasting bits of the rulebook like a classic ransom letter

I miss r/okbuddyphd. It’s possible to study so much it starts interfering with your ability to interact with normal people, who made more reasonable, balanced life choices, and that’s what those memes spoke to.

I feel like saying that on Lemmy is kind of self defeating. We’re the people that were too nerdy and online for Reddit.
Or maybe we can think about the question and what it means and understand more about the world rather than judging.
