Spyro 1-3. First game set the mood. Second game refined the formula, last game had fun with it. Still play it to this day.
I run 16 Bit Virtual Studios. You can find more reviews from me on YouTube youtube.com/@16bitvirtual or other social media @16bitvirtual, and we sell our 3D Printed stuff on 16bitstore.com

Because years ago I made my PC password with Capslock on since a warning would show.
So genius 13 year old me said, “hey even if someone knew my password, they’d never know how it was inputted.”
So my actual wake key is capslock.
Only my PC uses this old password method now, everything else is passphrase+uniquekey
Like google+lemmyworld
Depends the OS.
Windows its Space
On Linux shift since space will fill in the password field with spaces
Orchestral my pick is Journey, with Uncharted as a close second
Actiony my pick is Scott Pilgrim vs The World The Game. Love the band.
Retro - Chrono Trigger/Spyro 1-3/Pokemon Ruby Sapphire Emerald.
API changes, I use to use Infinity for Reddit and it was good. Then they killed it effectively.
So I moved to Eternity for Lemmy until support dropped. Now I’m on Voyager.
Good apps design keeps me using a platform and I like the slower pace of Lemmy. I still use reddit for time to time especially for smaller communities. But do my part here.
I too install Linux Mint, though Fedora Silverblue and Kinote is another good alternative.
The FunkoPop Store EB Games here in Canada were re-labeled to GameStop recently. They’re still in every Mall in the land from what I’ve seen. Though they are doing better. Game selection isn’t what it use to be, but the variety is growing now. I was surprised when I found Manga in our local GameStop.
Not exactly my cup of tea, but catering to “Nerd” culture, and going beyond “Merch” is something I can get behind, since it’s rare to see another store not selling the same old drivel as everyone else.
$500 for a Krabby Patty?
With cheese Mr. Squidward, with cheese.
Buy some games on discount. I can easily get Fallout 4, or about 7-10 other games on steep discount. PC gaming is the best.
You can do this with 10 but not 11. Tested on both a VM and hardware.
I too do not understand social media. The best I get is it’s about people shouting into a void and hoping someone else heard you to interact with it, by repeating it, liking it, or shouting back at you.
Hashtags are the only way to organize these posts and you need to add them or no one else will hear your shouts into the void.
Atari era/Pre-Windows PC era.
The Atari era is mostly because the games are short and have very little replay value. It’s a fun novelty especially when you see an angry nerd swearing at them on YouTube. But you’d get the gyst of the game after 30 seconds. Or are so confused that you don’t know what to do without the manual… even then it’s not that helpful.
Now for the Pre-Windows PC era, mostly DOS and Commodore. It’s mostly because I don’t have the right mindset to play them, and forcing myself to just makes me not want to hate them. Outside of Police Quest, Wolfenstein 3D, and F29 Retaliator (<- I can’t believe this is on Steam) which I like because they are nostalgic to me, I wasn’t able to get into Civiliation 1, Ultima, SimCity or other giants from the time.
fixed
Saw this elsewhere, happy to see it’s already posted. Good luck UK, 6,257 and rising!
Game Boy Zelda is best Zelda.
I love Links Awakening due to nostalgia, but Oracle of Ages is still the longest game I’ve played (since I’ve yet to beat it). Seasons is fine but not my cup of tea, and minish cap is a bit too shaort
I am doing my part 🫡!
Depends on what it is. There are no “Blueprints” online (as much as I wish there was), but there are repositories of 3D Printable models, like Thingiverse from Ultimaker and Printables from Prusa Research. For example if you wanted a replacement Stylus for your Nintendo DS or 3DS you can download them for free. For really popular things (or things nerds love), you’ll find a model
However as the idiot who made the 3DS stylus, I had to make the models myself with a pair of caliper and dozens of test prints. It takes time and patience but the effort is usually worth it since the next time it much less and reduces the more you make.
Fusion 360 or Tinker CAD are good starting software, with FreeCAD, or OpenSCAD as alternative. With Blender if you prefer modeling like clay.
Ender3S1 is a Good Starter printer for cheap, with Bamboo Lab and Prusa being the go to community printers. My preference is Ender and Prusa since there are replacement parts easily available.
On that note, you don’t need to buy books from Amazon, Google, Apple or Kobo. And no I’m not talking about raising the Jolly Roger.
Project Gutenberg offers public domain books for free to anyone in all the formats. While Overdrive or Libby offers you Books, newspapers magazines, and audiobooks for the low low cost of a free library card. Down side on Libby is wait times for some things. Audiobooks can be worse, upto a month or more for the most popular books.
Giving you a heads up as a Onyx Boox Nova 3 owner. These devices are poorly supported. You’d get maybe a year of “updates”, meaning the bundled apps are updated. But after that you are on your own.
It’s a brilliant e-reader don’t get me wrong, and I’ll take it over a Kobo or a Kindle any day. But go in assuming that you’d want to keep it offline.
