It’s the overworked and lack of air traffic controllers that’s the most worrying and dangerous.
I’ve seen this many times and it’s always fucking funny for me every time. The combination of the picture and the caption is so perfect.
My time management: Put everything on the calendar with a reminder so I don’t forget.

It’s terrible. Especially the ones where the title is a question that can be answered in a single sentence, and the video is 20 minutes long. It’s a symptom though. The root cause is the monetization model, that you need a video to be a certain length to get paid. Or maybe the longer someone is watching it, the better (I don’t know if that’s a thing).

It’s insane to me that you also get charged for pulling your data out. And it’s not cheap.

I don’t like the greasy feeling but I need to moisturize as I live in a dry place with hard water. I specifically look for lotion that doesn’t feel and stay greasy. I used to use organic/natural lotion but they dry out pretty quickly and you have to re-apply multiple times. Now I’m using Aveeno. Doesn’t feel greasy and it lasts for days even. I have eczema and it basically cleared out the flaky and ashy skin on my legs.

Denis Villenueve directing with Roger Deakins on cinematography will definitely make my life look way more epic than it actually is. The slow burn style will work though.

It was good when the “social” component was actually its purpose, and you used it to connect with your family and friends and see what they’ve been up to. Then it went to shit when algorithms took over, every other post on your feed isn’t from people/pages you followed, and keeping your eyes and attenion on the app as long as possible to maximize ad exposure became the goal.

But you can get most of those things already. Shirts can be ordered with custom prints. You can rent (or buy) a bouncy castle and put it in your backyard. Beddings and sheets I get, because you can probably only find them in twin sizes.
Light-up shoes in adult sizes on the other hand are nearly impossible to find, or are pretty expensive if you find one.
r/nba and my city’s sub. Both have equivalent communities here but aren’t as active, so I visit from time to time to see what’s going on. But that’s it, I don’t browse anywhere else on the site.

I believe their founder (or CEO?) also has his own controversy. Based on what I’ve seen so far, Quboz is the best choice if you really need to use a streaming service.

The deli inside one of the Asian grocery stores we shop at. $12 for 3 huge portions of mains and another huge portion of noodles as the side. Basically a meal for 2 people for the price of one.

Same. I come from a 3rd world country so spending is always something you have to think very hard about. I’m currently living relatively comfortably yet still live frugally. Big bills still sting even if I can afford it. I spent around the same in 2 years to fix all my teeth with insurance paying the rest (80%), and even that felt too expensive.

If you like listening to music while studying, use instrumental music only, or music in a language you don’t understand.

Pulling the cultural appropriation card too much perhaps? Especially for cultures they do not understand beyond surface level. Just because someone is wearing something from another culture, it doesn’t mean it’s being appropriated. Obviously negative appropriation exists especially for instances where it is being done for profit. The problem is sometimes some people are reactionary and are too quick to label something as such without looking into it first.

I moved for work. I jokingly asked my boss one day if I could relocate and did not expect an easy yes. 2 years after asking, I was in another country. Was it worth it? Yes. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity and not many people get the chance, so I took it. I didn’t even care what city I was going to end up in (we have multiple offices in across the country).
I did end up in a different city than what was initially planned, but for someone in my situation (wanting to get out of a 3rd world country), beggars can’t be choosers. I’ve since settled in with my wife. Assimilating wasn’t an issue because my home country is very exposed to western culture and we’re fluent in the language.
I run it on my router so I can put as many devices as I want on the vpn. I need a wireguard config file for that use-case.
Watch anime I guess, if people still think it’s only for kids and young adults.
