AwesomeLowlander@sh.itjust.worksto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•How many of you microwave water for tea?1·11 days agoHuh. I guess the kettle has some thermal mass to it making it less efficient for small amounts
AwesomeLowlander@sh.itjust.worksto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•How many of you microwave water for tea?2·11 days agoUnless I’m misunderstanding your statement, you’re saying it’s faster to boil water in the microwave than the kettle? How’s that possible? I would think the microwave has more wasted energy

You’re not calling it a horrible game, it just didn’t click for you.

AwesomeLowlander@sh.itjust.worksto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Is it possible for an neighbor's apartment to have mice but not mine?191·19 days agoHuh. That’s the first time I’ve ever heard that definition. TIL. Googling it, it seems to be a cultural thing and very much depends which country you live in.
AwesomeLowlander@sh.itjust.worksto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Is it possible for an neighbor's apartment to have mice but not mine?1610·19 days agoWhy is there an assumption OP is renting? And why in the world is this the top voted comment? It has absolutely nothing to do with the question.
